Thank you

FROM THE HEART

In this past nine months, the pandemic has hit self-employed artists and small businesses very hard. We have watched as many of our friends have struggled to stay afloat, wondering if we would be able to weather the storm ourselves.

We know we are loved and appreciated, and for that? - we are so very grateful.   We strive to do what we always do, bring amazing tap dance opportunities into the lives of as many people possible.  Whether it be as an audience member or a dancer.  (or an audience member who doesn’t know they are a dancer ….yet :)

Due to the generosity of the following people, at this time, The Rhythm Room is able to continue to do what we do:

ELIZABETH ELLE   -   TERESA KOPE   -   TERESA LAUSTRUP   -   SUSIE MOORE   -   CHARITY SIU   -   THE VERCHERE FAMILY KELLY WOOD   -   MARY STEWART MCILWAINE   -   KATHY BROMLEY   -   BERIT DOLDEN   -   ROBERTA EMERY   -   KRYSTYNA HIGGINS   -   KARIN KONOVAL   -  ANNA KRAMER    -   KATHI CROSS   -   DIANE LANE-FEIGE   -   MARION GUYATT   -   SYLVIA LOO   -   JUNE MATTHEW  - DEBORAH PERAYA   -   LINDA ROSENBAUM   -   BETSY SPAULDING   -   MARY TKACHYK
EMILY HENNEY   -   WILLIAM JOHNSTON    -   LEILANI KING   -   KIM MANGAL   -   DEIDRE AYAS   -   LAURA BILLING
LINDSEY BOGUNOVIC   -   ROBERT BOWDEN   -   CHRIS EMERY   -   LESLEE SINCLAIR   -      ILVS STRAUSS
MARNELLE ROBERTS   -   ALISON FOUND

The Rhythm Room has been in operation for 13 years and we have cultivated a wonderful community of tap students age 4 - 83. Tap Dancing has greatly impacted their lives, socially, emotionally, physically AND mentally. While we smugly like to think of ourselves as pretty successful, the reality is, like most arts based organizations, we operate fairly close to the line most of the time. Throw a little pandemic in there and we’re frantically spinning plates on our unicycle.
(yes, in our tap shoes - Insert “Sabre Dance” music here)

What are we saying?

If you love what we do and would have bought a ticket to one of our shows,
you can donate the cost of your ticket to us each time you want to applaud what we’re up to.

Keep clapping  = we’ll keep tapping.

We are optimistic that 20201 will bring some exciting tap adventures to fans and dancers alike.

Thank you for sticking with us :)
