Ernest “Brownie” Brown’s Copasetic Chair Dance was first done in Harlem, New York in the Hoofer’s Club and was later made famous by the legendary “Copasetics” This dance is a delight to both the dancer and the audience.

The Rhythm Room’s Historic Rep workshops will donate profits from these workshops to The West Coast Tap Dance Collective Scholarship Fund. We love sharing and exploring the tap dance history and feel strongly contributing back to our tap community.
